Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 2026

You can delete your 8 Ball Tracker account and its associated data at any time, directly from within the app.

How to delete your account

  1. Open 8 Ball Tracker and sign in.
  2. Tap your name in the header to open Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm with your password — or, if you only ever sign in with Google, by typing your display name.
Deletion happens the moment you confirm. There is no separate website step; this page exists to explain the process, as required for the Google Play Store listing.

What gets deleted

Clubs you own

Clubs you own are not deleted when you delete your account. Their matches, Knock Outs, player lists and statistics remain available to the other club members. The club shows a note that its former owner no longer has an account.

What is kept, and why

All club matches and Knock Outs you started stay with their club — they are shared records, and the other staff and players still rely on them. Those records no longer carry your name.

A single anonymous placeholder row is retained internally so those club records remain valid. It holds no name, no email address, no password and no Google link, and it can never be signed in to.

Timing

Your personal details are erased and you are signed out everywhere immediately. The retained club records do not contain your email address, password or Google account.
